Gouda Waegh cheese is made from 100% meadow milk. This is milk from cows that are outside for at least 120 days a year (at least 6 hours a day) and enjoy fresh polder grass. Because the cows graze on land that used to be sea, they eat rare nutritious and tender grass. Because of the unique salt composition of this grass, less salt is needed to create the creamiest and full of flavor Gouda cheese.
